He has the academic and professional background (M.Phil, PhD) and more than 20 years of experience in cultural heritage regulation, international standards and procedures working for public and private construction industries and clients. An experienced archaeologist and Cultural Heritage specialist, Kostas possess good leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to successfully lead cultural heritage teams.
Kostas is a good communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate with a range of stakeholders, organizations, communities and governments. He has extensive experience with multiple cultural heritage studies and has contributed to a range of heritage related reports and outcomes, including cultural heritage and conservation management plans, interpretation and assessment of cultural heritage places and sites, cultural permitting support and archaeological salvage for government and private clients.
Kostas is a capable and conscientious consultant-cultural heritage manager with excellent organizational and communication skills for reviewing cultural heritage policies and strategies and a specialist for preparation of cultural heritage interpretation/assessment plans in order to meet company goals and international requirements. A Greek national, he is based in Thessaloniki. He has a PhD. in Archeaology from the University of Ioannina, Greece, an MPhil in Archeaology from the University of Birmingham, and a BA in Ancient History and Archaeology from the University of Ioannina.
